An exciting position has become available for an enthusiastic and passionate Senior Property Claims Consultant to join an established team managing Property claims from end to end. The portfolio is diverse, therefore attractive to someone who enjoys dealing with a varied customer base.
This role will therefore attractive someone who enjoys dealing with a varied customer base and thrives on providing exceptional Customer Service.
The ideal candidate will have an adaptable skill set, able to move autonomously between different lines of business as well as navigate different customer groups, including intermediated to the direct customer
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Accurately assess and evaluate Property claims, in accordance with company compliance and policy
- Act as a technical reference for the Claims Team.
- Manage all claims within agreed workflow timeframes.
- Assisting team leader with their client performance meetings in the Australian and Lloyds markets.
- Actively coach, guide and support the team to improve their overall performance and client service.
- Responsible for optimising the average age of claim through proactive diary management and vendor engagement
- Identify complaints and recognise customer expressions of dissatisfaction to ensure such customers issues are handled efficiently
- Ensure all incoming call enquiries are handled in an efficient, expedient and professional manner
- Undertake appropriate claims reviews
- Assist where possible on any overflow of claims matters from other SCS sub teams
Skills and Knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- 3- 5 years Property claims experience.
- Exceptional customer service and adaptation skills, with the ability to problem solve efficiently
- Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills
- Proven experience of prioritising and working to SLAs
- Awareness of Regulatory Compliance as it applies to the Insurance Industry
- Comprehensive experience in dealing with loss assessors, repairers, brokers, etc.
