About the opportunity
Steadfast is seeking for a Senior Motor Claims Consultant to manage motor claims end-to-end within a varied portfolio. The role suits someone who thrives on delivering exceptional customer service and enjoys working with a broad customer base. The ideal candidate is adaptable and capable of working autonomously across different customer groups, including both intermediated and direct clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical and Team Support: Act as a technical reference, coach and guide team members, and support leadership in managing performance.
- Foster Collaboration and Learning: Work respectfully with colleagues, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive, learning-focused team environment.
- Drive Process and Service Improvement: Participate in meetings, suggest continuous improvement initiatives, and support other business areas during peak times.
- Manage Claims Efficiently: Handle motor claims end-to-end within compliance guidelines, ensuring timely processing and proactive management.
- Enhance Customer Experience: Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, handle complaints effectively, and ensure professional communication.
- Support Overflow and Reviews: Assist with overflow claims from other teams and conduct regular claims reviews to maintain service standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3- 5 years Motor claims experience.
- Exceptional customer service and adaptation skills, with the ability to problem solve efficiently
- Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills
- Proven experience of prioritising and working to SLAs
- Awareness of Regulatory Compliance as it applies to the Insurance Industry
- Comprehensive experience in dealing with loss assessors, repairers, brokers, etc.
