Your New Role at Steadfast
We are looking for a Senior Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis who enjoys solving complex business challenges, turning data into meaningful insights, and influencing strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong commercial acumen, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset, while enjoying the opportunity to partner with senior leaders across a diverse and growing organisation.
Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Group Finance, subsidiary finance leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive financial planning, forecasting, performance management and strategic analysis across the Group. Your ability to translate complexity into clarity, challenge assumptions constructively, and provide trusted financial advice will be critical in helping the business make informed decisions and achieve sustainable growth.
What Your Days May Look Like
You may begin your day reviewing the latest financial performance results, identifying key trends and preparing insights for upcoming Executive Leadership Team discussions. You could then be partnering with business leaders to challenge assumptions, refine forecasts and ensure investment decisions are supported by sound financial analysis.
By midday, you might be developing financial models, evaluating strategic initiatives, or preparing Board-level reporting that highlights business performance, emerging risks and growth opportunities. In the afternoon, you could be collaborating with finance leaders across the Group to improve planning processes, enhance forecasting capability, and strengthen financial discipline.
No two days look the same, but every day you will play a key role in helping shape the financial direction of one of Australia’s leading insurance groups.
