About the opportunity

The Senior Manager, Operational Governance will be responsible for driving the Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Program, the Data Governance Program, and establishing the Knowledge Management Framework. This role will ensure that Steadfast's operations are resilient, data is managed effectively, and knowledge is systematically captured and utilised.

 

Responsibilities

  • Establish and apply data governance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity and security across the business.
  • Develop and implement data management strategies, including data classifications, data lifecycle management and data privacy.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as IT, to ensure data governance practices are aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on data governance metrics.
  • Involvement in the business continuity plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments on the business.  
  • Involvement in creation of a knowledge management strategy.

 

Skills and Knowledge

  • Experience in Business Continuity Planning, Data Governance, and Knowledge Management, in an Insurance and/ or Financial Services setting.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and insurance industry best practices.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
